PROJECT PAGANI ZONDA S
Foglizzo, Pagani and Shalemar Sharbatly have one thing in common, the passion.
The automotive industry is part of Foglizzo’s and Pagani’s DNA, where together they share constant challenge to exceed technical performances, pursuit of pure functional beauty and proud of their Italian craftsmanship. On the other hand, the colorful world of Shalemar Sharbatly, where the wild inspiration is tempered by a rigorous thought, perfectly matches with Foglizzo’s quest to offer the widest range of colors in leather. Even if there is not one universal definition of art, Foglizzo believes art is the conscious creation of something beautiful and meaningful using skill and imagination.
Sharing this idea with Pagani and Shalemar Sharbatly, Foglizzo is able to promote the creation of a “moving piece of art”.
After 4 days of intense work Shalemar Sharbatly hand painted the entire Pagani Zonda S. The colors run from cool shades to warm hues, in a continuous flux of strokes and emotions that enhance the original shapes of the car. The final result is a piece of art which seems to embrace motion even when it is staring in front of you, showing its outrageous beauty.
PROJECT FERRARI
PROJECT FOR ANDREA BOCELLI FOUNDATION
The Ferrari 360 Modena is located in Switzerland. With 88.000km on the clock the value is estimated at €90.000 without considering the priceless artistic decoration that makes this particular model a unique work of art. The 360 Modena boasts a 400hp V8 engine with 3,6L capacity, flat plane crankshaft, titanium connecting rods and a special 5-valve per cylinder technique and 6-speed “F1” electrohydraulic transmission.
Five years ago, thanks to the friendship between Muhammad Ali and Andrea Bocelli, the “Celebrity Fight Night in Italy” was founded, which shares the aims of the US institution and also collects funds for the humanitarian and educational initiatives that the Andrea Bocelli Foundation organizes and supports, both in Italy and in Haiti. In the Caribbean, ABF has founded and supported – also thanks to “CFN in Italy” – hospitals, orphanages, schools, and in general a widespread empowerment action of people, providing education, food, health support, to over 2500 children every day.
The Celebrity Fight Night Foundation is a non-profit organization created 24 years ago in the United States to support the fight against disease and poverty. It raises funds for non-profit associations through a charity event involving the world’s leading international celebrities of sport, cinema, music and entertainment. In particular, the Foundation has supported the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center since its establishment at the Barrow Neurological Institute of Phoenix. Strongly desired by the legendary boxer to whom it is entitled, the center is a very modern structure that has been treating and monitoring Parkinson’s disease for over twenty years, assisting over ten thousand patients annually.
PRoJECT PORSCHE
The first Arab automobile to be exhibited at a prestigious vehicle exhibition in France was the Porsche 911. The car, which was painted by Sharbatly herself, is the first ever painted car to be displayed at the event in all its years. It was a project that Shalemar start thinking with a Mondial approach. Initially she had to face some problems with oil paint which, due to the climatic conditions, come off of the car’s exterior. After her first success she plans to begin work on a second vehicle, but is first setting up a special laboratory in Jeddah that contains protective equipment from the health hazards of car paint.
PRoject torq by e design
Throughout automotive history, innovation in production cars has always been tried and tested in the extreme world of racing. For this reason, ED has conceived the advanced concept car TORQ, 100% developed internally.
Torq is the union between two cultures: automotive and information technology, a project developed by the CEO and Design Director, Michael Robinson.
The automobile market has taken important steps in this direction: sharing platforms between car makers is now an industry standard, offering cross-functional component coordination, quickly implementing high tech contents which brings increasingly innovative objects to the market in less time, constant increasing the “pleasure of driving.” Today, the definition of driving pleasure is constantly evolving, with the end users looking increasingly for comfortable transportation, and not a race in downtown traffic. The car, artistically designed by Shalimar Sharbatly, was displayed in one of Nice’s oldest and historic hotels in its main lobby alongside artwork by some of the greatest artists such as Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci, Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso.
Le Negresco is exhibiting the car, which has been transformed into a work of art, in cooperation with design agency ED Design. The hotel surrounded the car with a protective fence, placing sculptors from the 18th century in all corners.
PROJECT GP2 RACING
Shalemar added her touch to the car owned by the GP2 series, making its appearance unique and mesmerizing. The car driven by Marc Faggionato, became the first to take part in the race of May, 24th 2019 in the Grand Prix in Monaco, which is the most important Formula One Race.
Shalimar Sharbatly emphasized the importance of this experience in her career, showcasing her happiness with Moving Art becoming the center of everyone’s attention and an added aesthetic value to the beautiful designs of both elegant and Formula One cars.
This all comes after the Artist Shalimar Sharbatly’s success in the international Formula One event in Dubai through her creation: “Moving Art”. During her preparations for her artistic creations, in typical Shalimar style, she listened to the voice of the “Brown Nightingale” Abdul-Halim Hafiz to make her unique drawings on the car participating in these international events.
